  Love Providence, all are welcome and Jesus is treasured. Feel so at home here. So glad I found this church, unlike any I've been to.

  Providence is the most loving, authentic, alive, and fun church I have ever been to! I have made some of my best friends there. It is great to have friends who love Jesus and go through life with you.

  With all the suffering, injustice, ignorance, selfishness and inequality that's going on in the world, this church chooses to focus on collecting money so they can build a three quarter of a million dollar mega church so people can "get to know God and Jesus" more. We don't need a mega church. The world need compassion, patience, wise generosity and kindness. Not the feel good things that feel good in the moment but don't actually bring about change but the good that effectuates actual positive change in the world. As the bible says....the root of all evil is greed. And what is greed? Selfishness.

  I had the most awful thing happen at this 'church.' They took us in and treated us like family for 3+ years. Things were great and we loved attending. Then, one day, our lives got hard ... like ... really really hard. I had been struggling for a long time, and finally came out as a bisexual and an atheist to my family and to the people of Providence Community. Given their recent campaign about restoration, you'd think that perhaps they'd rally around myself and my family to love us and give us support and guidance. You'd be wrong. We left soon afterwards and haven't heard from any of them. My wife who was going through the worst of it, wasn't even contacted to see if she was okay. We were essentially shunned.
  
  At this point, my family and I are doing fantastic. I'm still an atheist and will always be bisexual, but these people couldn't care less. The worst part is that we're now friends with a group of people who have all left this place. It's like being part of a support group for the abused. Everyone talks about how awfully they were treated in the last weeks of attendance and how no one has reached out to any of us about how we're doing now. Avoid this 'community' at all costs.
